BB's Take: Folks are talking about a possible hurricane and urging everyone to be prepared. If after January 20th 2021, you have not prepared for possible loss of power with extra gas, a means to protect your property and life, propane, water purification, food, generator, etc. A hurricane is the least of your problems (add in wildfires, tornadoes, and floods if you don't live on the Gulf Coast) and this is still aimed at you. I believe anarchy is coming. Anarchy happens when the police cannot insure your safety.

Is anarchy in our near future?
I was on the phone with a Harris County Deputy Sheriff the
other day for 35 minutes. The initial reason for his call was he needs his
computer repaired. We are longtime
friends, as I've known him since he was a kid.
Eventually the conversation turned to the state of affairs
of police shootings and the general unrest across the country. Now being a Harris County
cop and according to him, he literally wrestles with someone every day. The reason for this is because they fail to
follow his instructions and he is forced to make them obey. It’s as simple as that.
They become argumentative and combative and ultimately it is
because they are prone to violence, have something on them that is illegal, or
they have warrants. To a bystander, it often
appears the cop is being too aggressive, but what they fail to realize is the
cop often has inside information that makes them very wary of the person they
are attempting to arrest. Or, their body
language alerts the cop that everything is not as it may appear.
I know this guy. I
know him and I know he isn’t out there trying to bully anyone. He explained to me the mountains of rules and
regulations he and every cop must conform to.
He said it is almost impossible to remember everything they are told to
learn. Due to these restrictions in
almost every instance, the criminal has the advantage.
I told him I believe we are on the brink of anarchy.
All it takes for anarchy to evolve is for the police department to be unable to
answer calls and maintain law and order. We saw this after Hurricane
Katrina and in Ferguson, Missouri.
Can you imagine this happening all across the country? These giant demonstrations draw police away
from their duties allowing the criminal element to act with near impunity. He agreed that a few simple acts of terrorism
could create this environment.
Mass irrational terror, organized and violent
demonstrations, and the criminal element run amok and we suddenly are reduced
to a Third World environment. Armed citizens will be territorial and jumpy
as grasshoppers. Criminals will prey on
the weak and the few cops who are still able to patrol will be drawn back to
their own families to stand ground.
Nighttime will be ruled by the violent and our streets will be empty.
It’s a horrifying scenario to be sure, but to believe it
couldn’t happen here is just plain ignorant and frankly, stupid. In the recent December demonstrations in New York City, 25,000
demonstrators drew almost every cop in the large city away from actual crime
related issues. Does anyone believe that
criminal activity outside of this area actually decreased? Heck no and the proof is there.
Many of the signs being carried by the protesters of the
“Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” and “I Can’t Breathe” demonstrators are provided by
RevCom.us (which is printed at the bottom of the signs). “RevCom” is short for “The voice of the
revolutionary Communist Party, USA”. RevCom is using social unrest to further
their own goal of over-throwing the government and no one in the assembly seems
to be aware. They make no bones about it
on their website.
I am for peaceful demonstrations, but understand they drain
police resources. Be very cautious what
causes you support. Quanell X loves to
be portrayed as a human rights activist and proponent, but in reality is a
member of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense and the New Black Muslim
Movement with their own agendas. According
to Wikipedia, the Anti-Defamation League, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and
the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights consider the New Black Panthers to be a
hate group.
Anarchy can be prevented in the USA,
but it will take a revelation like the one Reverend Jarrett Maupin got in Phoenix, Arizona. As a local civil rights activist outraged
over the Maricopa County police shooting of an unarmed man, he accepted a
request by the PD to attend a shoot /don’t shoot class.
.
“I didn’t understand how important compliance was… people
need to comply with the orders of law enforcement officers, for their own
safety.” And that is the solution to stop anarchy.
If our country falls under terrorist attack, as France did the
past few days, stay calm and assist the police department until a safe and
friendly environment is restored. This
is not the time to make a social statement or collect a debt. People will be skittish and the criminal
element will be active and by all means, do what the police tell you to do
without argument.

ALPHA MIKE book launch!
Well, after about a year and a half of secret writing, I've came out of the author's closet with two published books. Alpha Mike and Alpha Mike - Four To Six.
I'm about halfway through book three of the continuing series and as excited as my readers to find out what is happening next. The books are available to download for a very modest price HERE and HERE. Smashwords, my publisher automatically offers the book in many formats after purchase and ten percent of both books can be previewed before purchase. here is a short description of the first book:
Alpha Mike One follows a common man, David Perkins, through a post-apocalyptic United States after a series of events plunge the country into total anarchy. Perkins forms a small clan of fighters made up mostly of women with military experience. This is book one of a series.
In a post-apocalyptic United States David Perkins, a common man with an Air Force warehouseman background is plunged into a lawless environment fraught with danger. His only option is to surrender to the aggressors, or fight back and over time he forms bonds with the only available people he can find who are not being packaged and sent north - women.
Army and Marine Corps trained women have escaped the net and join forces with Perkins, finding him to be a brilliant unconventional thinker, capable of out-smarting the enemy.
Collectively, they live off the land and begin staging militant rescues of other prisoners and escapees.
The Alpha Mike series of books are harsh, adult, filled with disaster, contagion, weather events, killing, death, tragedy, and the realities of living in a country that has been plunged two hundred years into the past.
My reviewers have been very positive and I am looking forward to continuing the series.

Libya and Anarchy
Watching what is happening in Libya and well, many countries in the Middle East, I can’t help but think of something my dad reported 30 years ago. I’ll get to that in a minute.
My dad was quite knowledgeable about a lot of things and since his naval days at the end of World War 2, he was particularly “up” on the Middle East and Europe. He has worked there also, as a Pipe Super for Brown and Root.
Around 1980, Gaddafi ordered the Gulf of Sidra closed to international traffic - a clear violation of an international agreement and then ordered his military to shoot down a US Boeing EC-135. Be it far from President Jimmy Carter to respond militarily, so Gaddafi became bolder.
In mid 1981, Col. Gaddafi became increasingly hostile towards the United States and this prompted a mass exodus of American workers from the country, my dad included. I remember the incident and the anxiety it caused my family.
It wasn’t long after Ronald Reagan became president that he decided it was time to challenge Gaddafi and this resulted in our navy shooting down 2 Russian made, but Libyan flown Migs over the Gulf of Sidra. We also lost 2 F-111’s over the ocean making their long way back to England, as the French would not let our military fly over their country. I guess it was okay 30+ years earlier for Americans to die on French soil to liberate them though – just stay out now.
Upon returning from Libyan soil, my Dad brought each of us souvenirs, but none of it was made in Libya. The reason for this as he explained, was that no one works in Libya – at least not Libyan citizens. Each citizen gets a cut from the oil profits, so there are no longer Libyan artisans and the country is rich in foreign workers from Sri Lanka, China, The Philippines, etc.
Now, due to the attempted eviction of Muammar al-Gaddafi, there is a mass exodus of foreign workers and when I say mass, I mean tens of thousands. My question is this: Who will do the work, since as my dad told me back in 1981 “When the oil is gone, there will be no one with remembered or learned skills and the foreign workers will all leave”.
I'm wondering if Libya will recover from this disruption even if they succeed in ousting their tyrant.

Should I be Scared too, Eddie?
Is our government driving this great country into the ditch with total abandon? Are we on a runaway train ride into destruction? Is our country is such steep decline that we will never recover our former position as a world leader of freedom? Is there a global conspiracy to combine the whole world under one ironclad fist? Should I buy up food and guns and bury them in my boat shed?
I remember years ago when I point-blank asked (in response to the many warnings) the question of "What can we do then?" and the reply from the conspiracy theorists was "There's really nothing we can do. It's too big. It’s a runaway ride into slavery."
So, since there was nothing I could do, I decided to roll on.
I continue to vote for the lesser of the 2 evils. I work the system the best I can for my family. I save what I can and I enjoy life to the best of my ability. I pursue hobbies. I try to influence my local government to improve our collective lot. I attempt through my Blog to influence those around me who actually read what I write with whatever is on my mind at the time and whatever facts are at my fingertips and this changes, so my opinion changes.
I try not to worry, but I find myself worrying.
Are we supposed to all move out into the woods, store up food and ammo and become anarchists? What, I once again ask (since so many claim to have their ear so close to the pulse of this coming dilemma) do you all experts suggest each of us do to stop it?
Can you give us clear advice? What exactly have you all personally done to change the future? It seems so many are alarmed, but no one knows how to reverse it.
Anyone can stand on a stump and yell out warnings (such as "WE NEED CHANGE!" - Barack Obama), but unless they can deliver a clear-cut message that actually answers the myriad of problems, they are wasting their breath and my time. Personally I hope Mr. Obama suddenly jerks from sleep and decides to drop all agendas except the one that will benefit all Americans, my family included.
Many mainstream American voters are sick and tired of our government in general, regardless of which party is boasting about having the answer. I can’t recall so many people being angry over all government as we are seeing right now. Usually they are mad about one party or the other, but the TEA parties are just mad at poor government period.
Ron Paul doesn’t have a chance either and I think he is true to what I believe - less government is better. I don’t even want to see the government in my business unless there is a disaster and then I want to see my government step in and help the people. I do not want to see my Government borrow 2.5 million dollars from Chinese banks and give it to Libyan charities ran by Dictator Qadaffi’s children, and thank God the State Department was denied this preposterous recommendation by our Congress.
Here in Texas folks are storing up ammunition. Some think it will be taxed it through the roof, while others think they will need it in the coming revolutionary war. I figure if it gets down to an internal war (read: war against Globalism and a One-World Government), there will be plenty of guns and ammo laying on the ground - plus, I have always believed if a person stored up enough food, etc. to hold them over for a year, it would all be taken away violently by the scavenging masses anyway, so why bother?
I wish I knew exactly what to do, but I don't, so I will continue to read, watch, eat, work and write - just like before.
